Toews got things rolling midway through the first period as he scored goals 95 seconds apart for a 2-0 lead. After redirecting a feed from Leddy at 9:05, Toews completed his second two-goal effort of the season by backhanding a loose puck in the crease into a vacant net.

Leddy scored late in the first period and Oduya tallied 8:01 into the second to chase Kari Lehtonen, who finished with 13 saves. Hossa took over in the second half of the middle period, registering his fourth two-goal performance to make it 6-0, and Keith scored early in the third before Dallas defenseman Trevor Daley spoiled Crawford's shutout bid at the 6:30 mark.

Richard Bachman also allowed four goals on 17 shots in relief of Lehtonen for the Stars, who have yielded 15 goals during their four-game winless streak (0-3-1). Center Jamie Benn returned after missing two games with a wrist injury and notched an assist.

Dallas is 0-2-1 on its four-game homestand, which concludes Monday against Calgary.
