Blue Jackets 1, Coyotes 0 (SO): Artem Anisimov and Mark Letestu scored in the shootout as host Columbus extended its franchise-record point streak to 10 games.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 39 saves for the Blue Jackets, who improved to 6-0-4 during their impressive stretch. Nine of the 10 games have been decided after regulation.
Anisimov led off the shootout and slid a backhander between Mike Smith's pads to give Columbus the edge. Mikkel Boedker was denied on Phoenix's first opportunity and Letestu beat Smith high to the glove side before Bobrovsky stopped defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson to clinch the win.
Bobrovsky turned aside 12 shots in the first period, 16 in the second, nine in the third and two in overtime en route to his second career shutout. His first came against Detroit on March 9.
Smith stopped 23 shots en route to his fourth shutout for the Coyotes, who have yet to score a goal midway through their four-game road trip. Phoenix was blanked by St. Louis in the opener of its trek on Thursday.
