Bruins 3, Flyers 0: Tyler Seguin scored a power-play goal to ignite a first-period surge and Tuukka Rask turned aside all 23 shots he faced as Boston breezed past visiting Philadelphia.

Chris Kelly and fourth-liner Daniel Paille scored 43 seconds apart and Rich Peverley added an assist for his 200th career point as the Bruins improved to 9-1-1 in their last 11 meetings with the Flyers.

Ilya Bryzgalov rebounded from the early barrage to finish with 25 saves for Philadelphia, which has dropped three in a row after winning five of its previous seven.

Seguin opened the scoring with 8:07 remaining in the first period after converting Milan Lucic's backhanded cross-slot feed. After Kelly recorded his 99th career goal by scoring from the inner edge of the left circle, Paille's backhand shot gave Boston a 3-0 lead with 5:49 left in the period.

Rask secured his second shutout of the season and 13th career with a strong third period - although with a bit of help from Seguin. Ruslan Fedotenko caught Rask out of position late in the session, but Seguin made a diving save to keep the Flyers off the scoreboard.
