Kings 3, Flames 1: Jeff Carter scored a goal and set up another as visiting Los Angeles posted its fourth win in five games.
Captain Dustin Brown and Trevor Lewis also tallied, defenseman Rob Scuderi notched two assists and Jonathan Bernier made 26 saves for the Kings, who went 2-1-0 on their three-game road trip.
Blue-liner T.J. Brodie scored and Joey MacDonald stopped 30 shots for Calgary, which has lost three of four and netted two goals or less in five of its last seven.
Brown opened the scoring at 6:15 of the first period when he received a pass from behind the net by Anze Kopitar and beat MacDonald from the slot. Brodie knotted the contest with 5:09 remaining in the session, but Lewis put the Kings ahead for good 29 seconds later as he buried a rebound from the right faceoff circle.
Carter sealed the victory midway through the third, taking a pass from Mike Richards and firing a wrist shot from the top of the slot past MacDonald for his fourth goal in five contests.
