After setting up Parenteau's goal 51 seconds into the contest, Duchene buried a loose puck from in close with 7:35 remaining in the first period. Mitchell beat Bobrovsky from the right faceoff circle early in the third, and Duchene capped the scoring by skating around Columbus defenseman Nikita Nikitin in the slot and slipping the puck between Bobrovsky's pads.
