: Matt Moulson and Michael Grabner scored two goals apiece and Brad Boyes added three points as New York netted five straight tallies to win its first road game of the season.

Boyes and defenseman Mark Streit scored second-period goals and Evgeni Nabokov made 39 saves for the Islanders. Keith Aucoin, who was claimed by New York after Toronto placed him on waivers at the start of the season, scored early in the third period to chase Maple Leafs goaltender Ben Scrivens.

Matt Frattin, who was called up to replace injured wing Joffrey Lupul, had a goal and two assists for the Maple Leafs, who led 3-1 after the first period on goals by Carl Gunnarsson, Nazem Kadri and Mikhail Grabovski. Scrivens allowed five goals on 25 shots, while James Reimer made seven saves in relief.
