WILD 3, FLAMES 2 (SO): Devin Setoguchi scored the lone goal in the fourth round of the shootout and Josh Harding denied all four attempts as host Minnesota damaged the postseason aspirations of its Northwest Division rival.
Dany Heatley scored a power-play goal to end an eight-game streak without a point and Darroll Powe snapped a 26-game goalless drought for the Wild, who welcomed back Mikko Koivu. The captain had missed the previous 15 games with a shoulder injury.
Lee Stempniak netted a power-play goal and defenseman Anton Babchuk converted on a 5-on-3 advantage for the Flames, who failed to hold a two-goal lead and suffered their fourth straight loss (0-1-3).
After Miikka Kiprusoff and Harding denied the first three attempts, Setoguchi skated in and ripped a low shot which beat the Finnish netminder to the stick side. Harding, who finished with 27 saves, then denied Blake Comeau to preserve Minnesota's second straight victory.
After Babchuk gave Calgary a 2-0 advantage with his first goal since March 9, 2011, Heatley began Minnesota's comeback by scoring nearly seven minutes later.
With his team on the power play, Heatley ripped a one-timer from the left faceoff circle past Kiprusoff for his 21st goal.
Powe leveled the contest with 7:37 remaining in the third after he spotted a loose puck and tapped it just over the goal line before Scott Hannan cleared it away. A video review revealed that it was indeed a valid goal.
