FLYERS 3, DEVILS 0: Ilya Bryzgalov recorded his third straight shutout and fourth in five games by turning aside 17 shots as host Philadelphia regained sole possession of fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
Jakub Voracek scored in his return from a head injury and rookie Sean Couturier tallied for only the second time in 24 contests for the Flyers, who salvaged the finale of the home-and-home set.

Danny Briere snapped a 23-game goalless drought with an empty-net tally - with 4:49 remaining play in the third period - to secure Philadelphia's sixth win in seven outings.
After sitting out Sunday's 4-1 loss to New Jersey, Bryzgalov extended his shutout streak to 196 minutes, 13 seconds with his sixth shutout this season and 29th career. John Vanbiesbrouck holds the franchise record of 227:04, which was set in 1999.
Bryzgalov, who was the NHL's First Star of the Week, helped the Flyers kill off a four-minute power play following defenseman Nicklas Grossmann's high-sticking penalty.
Martin Brodeur finished with 26 saves for the Devils, who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end.
After a scoreless first period, Couturier put Philadelphia on top midway through the second. After the Flyers won an offensive zone faceoff, defenseman Braydon Coburn's shot caromed off the end boards and deflected off Brodeur. Couturier alertly spotted the loose puck by the future Hall of Famer's pads and tapped it in for his 12th goal - and second since Jan. 17.
Voracek doubled the advantage just 2:14 into the third period after cleaning up a loose puck at the top of the crease for his 13th goal.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Voracek returned to the ice after being sidelined following a brutal hit from Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall. ... All-Star defenseman Kimmo Timonen returned from a lower-body injury for the Flyers. ... The teams split their six meetings this season ... Devils rookie defenseman Adam Henrique briefly exited the contest after taking a high stick to the face from Grossmann in the third period.
