STARS 2, DUCKS 0: Captain Brenden Morrow returned from injury to score a power-play goal and Kari Lehtonen made 21 saves as Dallas extended its point streak to 10 games with a home triumph over Anaheim.

Michael Ryder also tallied for the Pacific Division-leading Stars, who have won five consecutive games and are 9-0-1 in their last 10.

After a scoreless first period, Dallas broke through one second after the first of two Anaheim penalties expired early in the second.
Steve Ott made a pass from the top of the right faceoff circle to Jamie Benn down low. The All-Star dished the puck across the crease to Morrow, who beat Jonas Hiller from the left side just as Ducks defenseman Sheldon Brookbank exited the penalty box.

Morrow had missed the Stars' previous 18 games with neck and back injuries.

Lehtonen turned aside eight shots in the first period, six in the second and seven in the third for his 20th career shutout and third this season. Lehtonen also blanked the Ducks at home on Jan. 24.

Ryder sealed the win and extended his career-best points streak to nine games with an empty-netter in the final minute. The goal was Ryder's 30th, matching his career high.

Hiller stopped 21 shots for the Ducks, who have lost four straight on the road and five of seven overall. Anaheim has scored fewer than three goals in each of its last 10 games away from home.
