BRUINS 3, SABRES 1: Gregory Campbell and Johnny Boychuk ended long goal-scoring droughts as host Boston won back-to-back games for the first time in nearly two months.

Tim Thomas turned aside 19 shots and David Krejci also scored as the Bruins posted consecutive victories for the first time since Jan. 10 and 12.

Campbell notched his first goal in 20 games and Boychuk ended a skid of 40 games with the game-winner at 12:56 of the third period as Boston erased a 1-0 deficit and handed the Sabres only their third loss in 10 games (7-2-1).

Jason Pominville had the only goal for Buffalo, which entered the night two points out of eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Sabres scored the only goal of the opening period when Pominville cranked a slap slot from the right faceoff dot by Thomas at 16:39.

The Bruins tied it on a Buffalo giveaway in the second. Campbell deflected a rising one-timer from Shawn Thornton past Jhonas Enroth for his first goal since Jan. 22.

Boychuk whistled a bullet past Enroth for the go-ahead tally and Krejci made it a two-goal cushion three minutes later with his 18th of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Enroth was making only his second start since Jan. 18. He was yanked after allowing three goals in 27 minutes to Philadelphia in his previous start on Feb. 16. Ryan Miller had started the last 10 games. ... Boychuk's goal was his first since Dec. 3 against Toronto. He had just two assists in his previous 22 games.
