RED WINGS 2, PREDATORS 1: All-Star Pavel Datsyuk scored with six seconds remaining in the third period as Detroit edged Nashville to extend its NHL-record home winning streak to 22 games.

Datsyuk also notched an assist on Johan Franzen's goal and Joey MacDonald made 20 saves for the Red Wings, who improved to 25-2-1 at Joe Louis Arena this season and 5-0-0 on their six-game homestand.

After receiving a pass from Henrik Zetterberg, Datsyuk deked past All-Star defenseman Ryan Suter in the slot and rifled the puck past Pekka Rinne with time winding down in regulation, giving Detroit its fifth consecutive overall victory.

Franzen opened the scoring with 7:16 remaining in the first period with his 23rd goal of the season. Todd Bertuzzi made a pass from the left side of the net to Franzen, who beat Rinne from alone in the low slot.

Nashville capitalized on a turnover with five minutes to go in the second to pull even. Detroit defenseman Jakub Kindl coughed up the puck in the left corner and Jordin Tootoo backhanded it to Nick Spaling, who fired it past MacDonald from the inner edge of the left faceoff circle.
