Recap

Niklas Hagman scored in the eighth round of the shootout to give the Anaheim Ducks a 3-2 victory over Calgary on Monday for their 14th straight win at home over the Flames.

The Ducks' Bobby Ryan beat Miikka Kiprusoff in the fifth round before Blair Jones kept the Flames alive by sliding the puck past Jonas Hiller. Calgary's Olli Jokinen and Anaheim's Corey Perry scored in the first and second rounds of the shootout.

Ryan and Matt Beleskey scored 1:59 apart late in the first period and Jonas Hiller made 24 saves for the Ducks, who moved 10 points behind Minnesota for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference and improved to 10-2-2 in their last 14 games.

Alex Tanguay and Jarome Iginla had regulation goals and Kiprusoff made 31 stops for the Flames, who last won in Anaheim on Jan. 19, 2004 and are 1-13-10 in their last 24 on the Ducks' home ice. The last seven losses have all been by one goal, including five in overtime or a shootout.

Iginla's 20th goal marked the 14th consecutive season he has scored 20 or more, tops among active players. Kiprusoff was trying to become the 27th goaltender in NHL history to win 300 games.

Anaheim defenseman Luca Sbisa was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Tim Jackman 2:40 into the third period, and the Flames capitalized with the tying goal. Iginla took a pass at the blue line from Olli Jokinen, went in alone on Hiller and beat him with a wrist shot to the blocker side at 6:15.

In overtime, Anaheim's Teemu Selanne hit the post and Iginla had Hiller down and out, but lifted a shot over the net.
