Recap

Marian Gaborik scored twice and Carl Hagelin tallied shorthanded in a three-goal third period as the visiting New York Rangers rallied for a 4-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night.

Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 30 shots to win for only the second time in his last six starts as the Rangers snapped New Jersey's four-game winning streak.

Artem Anisimov also scored and Derek Stepan had three assists for the Rangers, who spotted the Devils a 1-0 lead before storming back to win for the 12th time in 17 games at New Jersey.

Gaborik put the Rangers ahead at the 4:45 mark of the third, burying a rebound after Anisimov's backhander careened off the right post.

Hagelin then applied the crusher with the Devils on the man advantage, storming down the right wing and beating Martin Brodeur with a wrister to the glove side.

It was the 10th shorthanded goal allowed by New Jersey – double the total of any other team in the league.

Gaborik added an empty-netter for his fourth goal in two games.

Travis Zajac, in just his third game back after sitting out the first 30 with a torn Achilles' tendon, scored his first goal of the season to put the Devils on top at 15:15 of the first.

New Jersey was without leading scorer Patrik Elias, who sat out with the flu.
