David Booth also scored for Vancouver, which kicked off its four-game homestand with its season-high fifth consecutive triumph.

Schneider turned aside the first 29 shots he faced before allowing a shorthanded goal by Samuel Pahlsson 4 1/2 minutes into the third period. The 25-year old has yielded only four tallies during the Canucks' winning streak.

Sedin opened the scoring 3:19 into the game with his first goal in nine contests. After defenseman Alex Edler's shot from the left point hit his skate, Sedin fired the puck past Curtis Sanford for his seventh of the season.

Booth doubled the lead late in the first period and Kesler scored on a one-timer from the left faceoff circle less than six minutes into the third for a 3-1 advantage. Burrows capped the scoring with an empty-netter in the final minute.

Sanford made 30 saves for Columbus, which began a four-game road trip with its fifth loss in six trips to Vancouver.
