Defenseman Erik Johnson scored the game-winning goal in the third period and Jaroslav Halak made 24 saves to pace the St. Louis Blues to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday.

Patrik Berglund also scored and Alex Steen extended his points streak to five games with an assist for the Blues, who have won six straight meetings with the Kings.

Johnson snapped a 1-1 tie with a wrist shot from the point that slipped past Jonathan Quick with a ton of traffic in front of the net at 13:13 of the third period. Steen and Eric Brewer assisted on the play.

Berglund opened the scoring at 11:56 of the opening session with his ninth goal of the season before Kyle Clifford evened the affair at 16:21 of the second period from Matt Greene and Brad Richardson.

The Blues welcomed T.J. Oshie back to the lineup after the young sniper missed 31 games with a fractured left ankle.
