Tyler Myers scored the game-winner at 4:37 of overtime and Ryan Miller made 36 saves to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday.

Miller was great early in the game, stopping 15 shots in the first period while Thomas Vanek had two assists and now has four points in his last two games. Tyler Ennis, Cody McCormick and Steve Montador also scored for Buffalo, which won its second game of the season on home ice.

Daniel Sedin had a goal and two assists and Henrik Sedin had three assists while the Canucks overcame a 3-1 deficit in the third period on goals from Alexander Edler and Mikael Samuelsson to send the game to overtime.

Ennis and McCormick gave Buffalo a 2-0 lead heading into the second period before Daniel Sedin cut the lead to one with a power play goal, his 12th of the season. Montador’s third tally of the year restored Buffalo’s two-goal advantage before the second intermission.

Cory Schneider gave Roberto Luongo a night off in Vancouver’s net, but took his first loss of the season. Schneider made 35 saves.
