Captain Mike Richards and Claude Giroux collected a pair of goals apiece as the Philadelphia Flyers won their eighth game in nine contests with a 5-2 triumph over the visiting Florida Panthers on Saturday.
Rookie Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 34 shots and added an assist in picking up his 10th win of the season, while Ville Leino and defenseman Kimmo Timonen had two assists apiece.
Richards opened the scoring with a wrist shot at 12:14 of the first period. Bobrovsky assisted on the play when he kicked out a shot that Andreas Nodl moved to Richards for the goal.
Scott Hartnell made it 2-0 when he jammed a shot past Scott Clemmensen from the side of the net just over three minutes later.
Richards fired in his second of the night when he converted from the right circle on the power play from Jeff Carter and veteran defenseman Chris Pronger at the 7:46-mark of the second.
Giroux made it 4-0 when he scored his eighth of the season on a goal-mouth scramble less than two minutes later and then added his second of the night with a backhand deke on a breakaway.
Cory Stillman and Mike Santorelli scored and Clemmensen turned aside 37 shots for the Panthers.
