Cal O'Reilly scored for the second straight game and collected his team-leading 12th point and J.P. Dumont also tallied for Nashville (6-5-3), which snapped its five-game losing streak. The Predators had opened the season with points in their first eight games before the skid.

Matt D'Agostini and David Backes scored for St. Louis (9-2-3), which is now 6-0-1 at Scottrade Center this campaign.

Jaroslav Halak rebounded from a dismal outing by turning aside 24 shots in this one. Halak permitted four goals on 15 shots in an 8-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday.

With the game tied at 1-1, D'Agostini wristed a shot past Rinne at 5:54 of the third period. The tally was the sixth for D'Agostini, but Dumont leveled the contest just over seven minutes later with his second goal of the season.
