Browns 30, Chiefs 7:
Trent Richardson rushed for a pair of touchdowns and Travis Benjamin returned a punt 93 yards for a score as Cleveland rolled over visiting Kansas City.

Brandon Weeden went 17-of-30 for 217 yards and Josh Gordon caught eight passes for 86 yards for the Browns (5-8), who have won three in a row for the first time since closing the 2009 campaign with four straight victories. The 23-point margin of victory was Cleveland's largest since 2003.

Jamaal Charles got the Chiefs (2-11) off to a strong start with an 80-yard touchdown run on the first play of the game and finished with 165 yards on 18 carries. Kansas City managed 230 total yards the rest of the way.

Cleveland got on the board with a field goal in the first quarter and had their own big gain on the first play of the second, when Benjamin broke up the middle and cut to the left sideline for the longest punt return TD in Browns history. Regular returner Josh Cribbs sprinted up to the line of scrimmage right before the kick, switching with the rookie Benjamin.

Richardson managed only 42 yards on 18 carries but got the yards that counted at the goal line, busting through for a 1-yard score to cap the opening drive of the third quarter and capping a 12-play drive with another 1-yard burst to make it a 27-7 gap with 14:21 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Eric Metcalf held the previous record punt return TD for the Browns at 92 yards. … Kansas City WR Dwayne Bowe left in the first half with a rib injury and did not return. He had two catches for 70 yards before exiting. … Cleveland kicker Phil Dawson connected for field goals of 23, 24, and 34 yards. The 23-yarder in the first quarter was the 300th of his career, making him the 25th kicker in NFL history to reach that mark.
