Recap

Bills 34, Jaguars 18: Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as host Buffalo kept its postseason hopes alive.

Fitzpatrick threw for only 112 yards but guided the Bills (5-7) to 27 unanswered points to turn a 10-7 deficit into a 34-10 lead with 13:29 left in the game.

C.J. Spiller rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown and Fred Jackson ran for 109 yards on 25 carries as Buffalo amassed 232 yards on the ground in dealing Jacksonville (2-10) its eighth loss in nine games.

Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne, in his second start since replacing Blaine Gabbert, finished 18-of-41 for 208 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He ran for a score but was sacked four times and lost a fumble.

The Bills went ahead to stay on Fitzpatrick's 11-yard scoring pass to Scott Chandler with 1:56 left in the second quarter and extended the lead to 17-10 at the half on Rian Lindell's 29-yard field goal, which came after Mario Williams sacked Henne and forced a fumble.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Fitzpatrick opened the scoring with a quarterback sneak for his first rushing TD since Nov. 29, 2009. ... Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings was knocked out of the game with a concussion early in the second quarter. With Maurice Jones-Drew and Jalen Parmele already out with injuries, Jacksonville was forced to go with Montell Owens, who did not have a carry this season entering the contest. ... Lindell's 50-yard FG in the third quarter was his longest since he connected from the same distance at Baltimore on Oct. 24, 2010.
