Recap

Jets 27, Rams 13:
Bilal Powell rushed for a pair of touchdowns and Mark Sanchez went 15-of-20 for 178 yards and a score as visiting New York snapped a three-game slide.

Nick Folk kicked a pair of 51-yard field goals and the defense forced three turnovers for the Jets (4-6), who overcame a pair of special teams mistakes in the first half and broke through on the ground in the fourth quarter.

Sam Bradford threw a pair of touchdown passes to Brandon Gibson and passed for 170 yards for St. Louis (3-6-1), which is winless in five straight. The Rams earned a rare NFL tie last week at San Francisco but have not won since Week 5.

New York had a short field goal blocked and was stopped on a fake punt attempt in the second quarter before Bradford was sacked by Muhammad Wilkerson and fumbled. Bart Scott recovered for the Jets and Sanchez needed only two plays to find Chaz Schilens for a 25-yard touchdown pass and a 10-7 lead with 4:31 left in the first half.

Powell scored with a 5-yard run on the second play of the fourth quarter and New York turned another turnover into points after LaRon Landry forced a fumble in Rams territory. Powell caught an 11-yard pass to convert a first down and rushed 11 yards for the touchdown and a 27-7 lead two plays later
