Redskins 24, Buccaneers 22: Billy Cundiff overcame three field goals earlier in the game, booting a 41-yarder with three seconds to play to lift visiting Washington past Tampa Bay.

Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin ran for a touchdown and threw for 323 yards while going 4-for-4 for 46 yards on the game-winning drive to help the Redskins (2-2) snap a two-game losing streak and send the Buccaneers (1-3) to their third consecutive defeat.

Rookie Alfred Morris rushed for a season-high 113 yards and a touchdown for the Redskins, who squandered a 21-3 second-quarter lead and had to rally after Tampa Bay went ahead on Connor Barth's 47-yard field goal with 1:42 to play.

Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman overcame a rocky first half, throwing for 299 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Wideout Vincent Jackson had six receptions for 100 yards and a score.

The Redskins scored twice in just over a two-minute span of the second quarter en route to a 21-6 halftime lead, but Freeman used a pair of long passes to set up a 7-yard scoring pass to Jackson and LeGarrette Blount's 2-yard plunge to cut the deficit to 21-19 with 9:41 to play before going ahead on Barth's third field goal.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Redskins SS Brandon Meriweather and WR Aldrick Robinson were both inactive following a bizarre pregame collision. Meriweather, who missed the first three games, was chasing down a pass and slammed into Robinson, sending both players to the turf for a lengthy spell. ... Barth also connected from 50 and 57 yards to extend his NFL-best and franchise-best streak to 25 straight field goals made. ... Griffin's second-quarter scoring run was his fourth rushing touchdown of the season, tying the franchise record held by Eddie LeBaron and Joe Theismann.
