Matt Cassel threw four touchdowns - three to Dwayne Bowe - and the Kansas City Chiefs snapped a four-game road losing streak with a 42-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Jamaal Charles ran for 173 yards and a touchdown as the AFC West-leading Chiefs (7-4) picked up their first road win since Week 2.

The Chiefs, who entered with the league’s top-ranked rushing attack, ran for 270 yards and even got a 1-yard touchdown run from defensive tackle Shaun Smith.

Bowe matched a career-high with 13 catches for 170 yards against the Seahawks’ 30th-ranked pass defense.

The fourth-year receiver extended his franchise-record streak of at least one touchdown catch to seven games. He has 13 touchdowns in that span.

Bowe had eight catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns in the first half alone, leading the Chiefs to a 21-10 halftime advantage.

He broke the franchise’s 48-year-old single-season touchdown reception mark with a 9-yard score early in the fourth that made it 35-17.

Rookie safety Earl Thomas returned a blocked punt for a score and Chris Baker and Ben Obomanu each caught a touchdown for Seattle (5-6), which managed just 20 yards on the ground.
