Recap

Stanford 17, No. 1 Oregon 14 (OT): Jordan Williamson kicked a 37-yard field goal in overtime and visiting Stanford stunned top-ranked Oregon.

Tight end Zach Ertz had 11 receptions for 106 yards and a spectacular tying touchdown reception with 1:35 to play in regulation to give the Cardinal (9-2, 7-1 Pac-12) their fifth consecutive victory since an overtime defeat at Notre Dame.

Kevin Hogan, in his second career start, threw for 211 yards and a touchdown and ran for a score as Stanford put itself in the driver's seat in the Pac-12 North and a chance to play in the conference championship game.

The loss snapped a 13-game losing streak for the Ducks (10-1, 7-1), who had scored at least 43 points in every game this season but were stymied by the Cardinal defense. Oregon was stopped on a pair of fourth-down chances in the first half.

Oregon got the ball in the first overtime and failed to make a first down before Alejandro Maldonado clanked a 41-yard field goal off the left upright. Maldonado  also missed a 42-yarder late in the third quarter shortly after Oregon went ahead 14-7 on De'Anthony Thomas'  6-yard run.

Marcus Mariota threw for 212 yards with a touchdown and interception and ran for 89 yards on 12 carries for Oregon, which fell to 42-1 under Chip Kelly when leading after three quarters.
