Stanford 17, No. 1 Oregon 14 (OT): Jordan Williamson kicked a 37-yard field goal in overtime and visiting Stanford stunned top-ranked Oregon.

Tight end Zach Ertz had 11 receptions for 106 yards and a spectacular tying touchdown reception with 1:35 to play in regulation to give the Cardinal (9-2, 7-1 Pac-12) their fifth consecutive victory since an overtime defeat at Notre Dame.

Kevin Hogan, in his second career start, threw for 211 yards and a touchdown and ran for a score as Stanford put itself in the driver's seat in the Pac-12 North and a chance to play in the conference championship game.

The loss snapped a 13-game losing streak for the Ducks (10-1, 7-1), who had scored at least 43 points in every game this season but were stymied by the Cardinal defense. Oregon was stopped on a pair of fourth-down chances in the first half.

Oregon got the ball in the first overtime and failed to make a first down before Alejandro Maldonado clanked a 41-yard field goal off the left upright. Maldonado also missed a 42-yarder late in the third quarter shortly after Oregon went ahead 14-7 on De'Anthony Thomas' 6-yard run.

Marcus Mariota threw for 212 yards with a touchdown and interception and ran for 89 yards on 12 carries for Oregon, which fell to 42-1 under Chip Kelly when leading after three quarters.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ertz's tying TD was initially waved off when he was ruled his hand landed out of the back of the end zone. The call was reversed upon replay. ... Oregon failed to score in the first quarter for the first time this season. The Ducks were averaging 19 points in the opening 15 minutes entering Saturday's game. ... Stanford had been the only team in the country not to allow a touchdown drive of three plays or fewer until Oregon went 59 yards in three plays on its first score. ... The Ducks' average halftime lead entering the contest was 25.8 points.
