Ohio State 52, Indiana 49: Braxton Miller accounted for 360 yards of offense and three touchdowns while Carlos Hyde and Devin Smith each had a pair of scores as the Buckeyes held on for their seventh straight win.

Miller, who passed for 211 yards and rushed for 149 more, gave Ohio State (7-0, 3-0 Big Ten) a 52-34 lead with 6:47 remaining when he and Smith connected on a 46-yard touchdown pass. Indiana (2-4, 0-3) staged a furious late rally as backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld threw a pair of touchdown passes to pull the Hoosiers within 52-49 with 1:05 left before Ohio State recovered an onside kick to secure the victory.

Hyde rushed for a career-high 156 yards and a touchdown and he also caught a TD pass as the Buckeyes rushed for 353 yards after gaining 371 on the ground in a lopsided win over Nebraska last week. Stephen Houston scored three touchdowns, including a pair of rushing scores, for the Hoosiers.

Trailing 14-10 late in the second quarter, Ohio State took the lead for good when Travis Howard blocked a punt and Bradley Roby recovered in the end zone to put Ohio State ahead 17-14 with 5:19 left.

Miller then hit Smith with a 60-yard TD pass down the right sideline with 2:31 remaining as the Buckeyes took a 24-14 halftime lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Indiana's 49 points were the most ever scored against Ohio State in the series. ... Ohio State has beaten the Hoosiers 17 straight times dating back to 1988. ...The Buckeyes have blocked four kicks this season and, since Urban Meyer has been a collegiate head coach, his teams have blocked 55 kicks in 132 games.
