Tulsa 49, Alabama-Birmingham 42:
Alex Singleton rushed for three touchdowns and Cody Green passed for two to lead visiting Tulsa to its fourth consecutive victory.

Singleton scored on a tiebreaking 6-yard touchdown run with 5:16 remaining as the Golden Hurricane (4-1, 2-0 Conference USA) rolled up 478 yards in dispatching Alabama-Birmingham (0-4, 0-1).

Green passed for 237 yards and also added a 45-yard scoring run. Trey Watts scored on a 10-yard jaunt that gave Tulsa a 42-28 edge midway through the third quarter.

Darrin Reaves rushed for three touchdowns and Austin Brown passed for 337 yards and three scores for the Blazers. UAB trailed by two touchdowns entering the final quarter before Reaves scored from 3 yards and Brown tossed a 50-yard scoring pass to Jamarcus Nelson to tie the contest with 9:26 to play.

The Golden Hurricane led 35-21 at halftime while accumulating 20 first downs to UAB’s five. Reaves tied the score at 21 on a 1-yard run with 13:24 left in the half before Green hit Keyarris Garrett from 11 yards out prior to his long scoring run.
