North Carolina State 52, The Citadel 14: Mike Glennon passed for a touchdown and ran for two more as host Wolfpack handed the Bulldogs their first loss of the season.

Glennon completed 19 of 25 passes for 233 yards. He fired a 20-yard TD scoring strike to Bryan Underwood and scored on 1- and 2-yard runs as North Carolina State (3-1) built a 42-7 halftime lead.

Shadrach Thornton rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries for the Wolfpack, who rolled up 515 yards of total offense.

Darien Robinson ran for 102 on nine carries for The Citadel (3-1), most of it coming on a 65-yard TD jaunt in the first quarter.

Despite falling into an early deficit the option-oriented Bulldogs attempted only seven passes, gaining just 27 yards through the air. They ran for 199.
