Clemson 41, Furman 7
: Andre Ellington rushed for two touchdowns and Tajh Boyd threw for two scores to lead No. 11 Clemson to the home win at Death Valley.

Ellington carried 15 times for 59 yards and scored on runs of 10 and 1 yards for the Tigers (3-0). Boyd completed 20 of 29 passes for 310 yards, and threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Ford and a 39-yard scoring strike to Martavis Bryant.

The Tigers dominated the line of scrimmage against Furman (0-3) and finished with 498 yards - 184 yards rushing and 314 passing. Clemson narrowly missed reaching the 500-yard mark for the third time this season.

All-Atlantic Coast Conference receiver Sammy Watkins returned to the lineup for Clemson after being suspended for the first two games. He scored on a 58-yard run and caught four passes for 52 yards.

Furman quarterback Reese Hannon completed 19 of 29 passes for 235 yards and a 37-yard touchdown to Jordan Snellings.

GAME NOTEBOOK
: It was the 30th straight win for Clemson against Furman, its oldest rival ... Clemson's DeAndre Hopkins had seven receptions and how has 26 for the season. ... Second-string quarterback Cole Stoudt played most of the final quarter in relief of Boyd.
