Fresno State 69, Colorado 14: Senior running back Robbie Rouse rushed for 144 yards on nine carries and broke the school rushing record and Derek Carr threw five touchdown passes - in two quarters - for the host Bulldogs.

Rouse, who scored four touchdowns, has 3,539 yards, breaking the mark of 3,473 held by Ron Rivers. Rouse added two receiving scores.

Rouse broke the record on a 94-yard touchdown run with 2:39 remaining in the first quarter, the last of five unanswered touchdowns by the Bulldogs (2-1) in the opening quarter.

The first quarter also included a 97-yard touchdown pass from Carr to Isaiah Burse. Fresno State had 322 total yards in the first half and 516 by halftime, when it led 55-7. Carr finished with 300 yards.

Jordan Webb and Connor Wood alternated at quarterback for Colorado (0-3). They were a combined 10-for-27 with four interceptions before Nick Hirschman took over in the fourth quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bulldogs set a Mountain West Conference record for the most points in the first half. ... Colorado junior running back Josh Ford was the lone bright spot for the Buffaloes, rushing for 61 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown. … Burse finished with three receptions for 107 yards.
