Mike Glennon passed for 265 yards and three touchdowns to lead North Carolina State to a 31-24 victory over Louisville on Tuesday in the Belk Bowl at Charlotte, N.C.

David Anderson made two interceptions, returning one for a score, to raise his nation-leading total to 13 for the Wolfpack (8-5), who have won two bowl games in a row after taking down West Virginia in the Citrus Bowl last winter.

Big East Rookie of the Year Teddy Bridgewater passed for 273 yards and two touchdowns but was also picked off three times for the Cardinals (7-6).

The Wolfpack took control in the final five minutes of the first half. Glennon completed five straight passes on an 80-yard drive, connecting with Tobias Palmer for a 35-yard touchdown that put N.C. State on top, 14-10, with 4:03 left in the half.

Louisville elected to go for it on 4th-and-1 from the Wolfpack 31-yard line on the ensuing possession and was stuffed. Glennon needed only two plays to get N.C. State back in the end zone, hooking up with T.J. Graham on a 67-yard touchdown to make it 21-10 heading into the locker room.

After a field goal on the opening drive of the third, Anderson made it 31-10, when he returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown.

The Cardinals would creep back into it, but Anderson’s second interception with 41 seconds left halted their last chance.
