Jarius Wright broke the Arkansas career record for receptions and the Razorbacks rolled to their fifth straight victory, 49-7 over visiting Tennessee on Saturday.

The No. 8 Razorbacks (9-1, 5-1 SEC West) stayed in the running for at least a possible at-large BCS bowl appearance, while Tennessee (4-6, 0-6 SEC East) has yet to win a conference game and must beat both Vanderbilt and Kentucky to obtain bowl eligibility.

Wright came into the game needing three catches to equal the record of 153 receptions held by Anthony Eubanks. He got five for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Joe Adams, who entered two receptions shy of Eubanks, got those two catches and also ripped off an amazing 60-yard punt return for a touchdown. It marked Adams’ third punt return for a score this season.

Dennis Johnson ran for 97 yards and two touchdowns, including a career-high 71-yarder.

Tennessee got off to a poor start, faking a field goal on its opening drive but failing to complete the pass. The Volunteers then fell into a 21-0 hole before an 11-yard touchdown run by Raijon Neal broke up the shutout.

Tennessee failed to score a touchdown in the second half for the fifth consecutive game.

Volunteers freshman quarterback Justin Worley threw for 210 yards. Da’Rick Rogers was his top target with five catches for 106 yards.
