Andrew Luck threw three touchdown passes and No. 3 Stanford extended the nation’s longest win streak to 17 games Saturday with a 38-13 victory over Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore.

After being held scoreless in the first quarter for the first time this season, Stanford (9-0, 7-0 Pac-12 North) led 17-13 in the third quarter before pulling away from Oregon State (2-7, 2-4 Pac-12 North) with two quick touchdowns.

Stanford, which improved to 9-0 for the first time since 1951, lost both wide receiver Chris Owusu and tight end Levine Toilolo to injury. Owusu was taken off the field in an ambulance after taking an illegal hit for the second time in two games. He reportedly suffered a concussion on the play.

After giving up 225 yards rushing last week to Utah, the Beavers were outgained 300-33 on the ground against Stanford. Oregon State was eliminated from postseason consideration with the loss.

Luck, who finished 20-of-30 passing for 206 yards with one interception, had just 127 passing yards before throwing touchdown passes to Stepfan Taylor and Coby Fleener near the end of the third quarter.
