Recap: Cincinnati 69, Rutgers 38

Isaiah Pead scored five touchdowns, and Zach Collaros threw for four scores and ran for another to lead Cincinnati to a 69-38 victory over Rutgers in a Big East game on Saturday night.

Cincinnati (4-6, 2-3 Big East) gained 661 total yards while Rutgers (4-6, 1-4 Big East) had 392.

Rutgers quarterback Chas Dodd threw four touchdown passes to wide receiver Mark Harrison covering 52, 6, 66 and 36 yards. Dodd completed 19-of-29 passes for 335 yards. He threw two interceptions and was sacked six times. Harrison caught 10 passes for 240 yards.

Pead gained 213 yards on 31 carries while Collaros completed 23-of-39 passes for 366 yards and one interception.

Pead had touchdown runs of 24, 9, 24 and 26 yards, and caught a 34-yard scoring pass from Collaros. Cincinnati's quarterback also threw touchdown passes of 16 yards to D.J. Woods, 10 yards to Ben Guidugli and 4 yards to Anthony McClung in addition to his own 2-yard scoring run.

Woods also had a 9-yard touchdown run.

Cincinnati, which led 41-24 at the half, broke a three-game losing streak while Rutgers has lost four straight.
