IOWA STATE 72, TEXAS TECH 54: Scott Christopherson and Melvin Ejim scored 17 points apiece and Royce White nearly posted a triple-double as the Cyclones rallied after a sluggish first half to post their sixth straight Big 12 home victory.
Iowa State (20-8, 10-5 Big 12) is in a third-place tie with Baylor while last-place Texas Tech (8-19, 1-14 Big 12) dropped its third in row.
Trailing 32-28 at halftime, the Cyclones started the second half with a 10-2 run to grab the lead. After Texas Tech took a 45-44 lead with 12:47 remaining, Iowa State used a 9-0 run to take control.
Iowa State shot 63 percent in the second half while holding the Red Raiders to 35 percent. Ejim had 14 of his points in the second half, while White had eight points and five assists after halftime.
White notched his eighth double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds and flirted with his second triple double of the season with eight assists, most of them sharp, no-look passes.
Chris Allen added 12 points for Iowa State.
Jaye Crockett led Texas Tech with 17 points and Ty Nurse added 15 - all in the first half - as the Red Raiders led almost the entire way, enjoying a lead as big as 21-12.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Iowa State earned its first 20-win regular season since 2000-01 and has 10 league wins for the fourth time since the inception of the Big 12 in 1996. ... Texas Tech, last in the league in 3-pointers per game, outscored Iowa State, the conference's top long-distance shooting team, 21-18 from beyond the arc.
