Recap
COLORADO 55, UTAH 48: Andre Roberson had 12 points and 15 rebounds for his 16th double-double of the season as the Buffaloes remained in contention for the Pac-12 regular-season title after struggling to put away the host Utes.
Austin Dufault added 11 points and nine rebounds for Colorado (18-8, 10-4 Pac-12), which has won two straight – both on the road – and remained 1½ games behind first-place Washington and California.
Jason Washburn recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds for Utah (5-21, 2-12 Pac-12), which clinched its first losing season at home since 1972-73.
After the Buffaloes started the second half with a 9-3 run to take a 31-22 lead, the Utes fought back to forge a 40-40 tie on Anthony Odunsi’s steal and layup with 6:25 to go.
The game was tied twice more before Spencer Dinwiddie’s bucket gave Colorado the lead for good, 46-44 with 4:14 remaining.
The teams combined to miss their first 11 shots from the field and Washburn’s basket 5:26 into the game were the first points. The teams also missed their first 13 shots from 3-point range before Colorado's Askia Booker broke the ice with 6:41 left in the first half.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Roberson entered the game fifth in the country in rebounds with 11.1 per game and tied for sixth in double-doubles... Colorado defeated Utah 73-33 on Dec. 31 in the first Pac-12 game in each school’s history... The Buffaloes have won three conference games on the road in a season for the first time since 2003-04 and improved to 13-54 overall on the road since the start of 2006-07.
