Things started to turn around for Golden State in the third quarter, and it used a 9-0 run to take the lead back for good. Thompson hit a 3-pointer during the spurt and Festus Ezeli capped the burst with a traditional three-point play for a 65-56 lead before the Warriors settled for a 69-63 edge heading into the final period.

Sacramento chipped away in the fourth and drew within 79-78 on Jason Thompson’s jumper with 3:55 left. Curry responded with a 3-pointer but Thompson hit another jumper and Patterson buried a 3-pointer to put the Kings back on top 83-82 with 1:24 to play.
