Recap

Cavaliers 101, Bulls 98: Dion Waiters scored 25 points as visiting Cleveland knocked off struggling Chicago.

Despite playing without All-Star guard Kyrie Irving (knee), the Cavaliers had enough to snap an 11-game losing streak to the Bulls. Shaun Livingston had 15 points and Wayne Ellington added 13 off the bench.

Carlos Boozer scored 27 points and Luol Deng added 26 for Chicago, which has lost eight of 12 this month.

Boozer had consecutive baskets and Kirk Hinrich nailed a jumper to pull the Bulls within 93-92 with 2:57 left, but Waiters and Luke Walton answered with a pair of hoops to make it 97-92 with 1:21 remaining. The Bulls had the ball down 98-96, but Deng missed a 20-footer with 15 seconds left and Livingston hit a pair of free throws on the other end to help ice it.

Chicago opened the game with an 11-2 run, but the Cavs stormed back to take a 19-17 lead on an Ellington basket late in the first quarter. Neither team led by more than five points through the second and third quarters.
