Warriors 104, Thunder 99: Stephen Curry scored 31 points and David Lee collected 22 points and 12 rebounds as Golden State edged visiting Oklahoma City.
Carl Landry added 20 points off the bench and Klay Thompson scored 19 before fouling out for the Warriors, who have taken out two of the top teams in the Western Conference in the Thunder and Los Angeles Clippers over the past two games.
Kevin Durant had 33 points and nine assists while Russell Westbrook struggled to 10 points on 3-of-16 shooting as the Thunder (33-10) became the last team in the NBA to reach double-digit losses.
Oklahoma City was up by five points with 4:35 left in the game when Golden State began to make a move, embarking on an 8-0 run to grab the lead. The Thunder had a chance to tie or take the lead late but Curry stole Durant’s pass and hit a pair of free throws with 12.4 seconds left.
Westbrook missed badly on a deep 3-point attempt at the other end and Jarrett Jack split a pair of free throws before Westbrook ended his ugly night with a turnover to close it out.
Curry scored nine points in less than two minutes during an 11-3 burst that put the Warriors ahead by four points in the third quarter. But the Thunder ended the frame strong and regained control with a 79-76 lead heading into the fourth.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Oklahoma City fell to 29-1 when leading after three quarters. … Golden State scored 24 points off 19 turnovers by the Thunder. … Curry went 3-for-14 from 3-point range but was 8-for-13 from inside the arc and 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. He added seven assists and four steals.
