Kings 95, Wizards 94: Tyreke Evans knocked down the go-ahead free throw with 11 seconds remaining as host Sacramento ended Washington's three-game winning streak.

With the score tied and 30 seconds remaining, Wizards guard John Wall missed a pair of free throws and Sacramento took possession. Evans was fouled from in close and knocked down one of two from the line, giving the Wizards a chance to win - but Bradley Beal and Wall both missed short jumpers as the Kings held on for their second straight win.

Evans, John Salmons and DeMarcus Cousins each had 21 points for the Kings, while Cousins added 16 rebounds and five assists. Beal led the Wizards with a career-high 26 points on the strength of six 3-pointers.

The Wizards broke open a back-and-forth opening half with a 13-2 run - fueled by three Beal 3-pointers - that sent them into the break with a 56-48 lead. Washington fended of a Sacramento charge early in the third quarter, but the Kings continued to press, with Jimmer Fredette hitting a pair of 3-pointers that helped trim the deficit to 77-72 entering the fourth.

The Kings chipped away early in the final period and finally drew even on a Salmons mid-range jumper with 6:41 remaining. Cousins countered a Washington spurt with five straight points - including a three-point play with 1:49 left - to tie the score again, and the teams traded 3-pointers to set the stage for the thrilling final minute.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The teams combined for 18 first-half turnovers. ... Wall, playing his third game since returning from a serious knee injury, had 14 points and 10 assists in 26 minutes off the bench. ... The Wizards had 32 assists on 39 made field goals.
