Spurs 99, Hornets 94: Tony Parker scored 25 points and Tim Duncan added 15 and 10 rebounds as host San Antonio extended New Orleans’ losing streak to 10 games.
Manu Ginobili tallied 13 points and Boris Diaw added 12 for the Spurs, who won for just the second time in six games.
Anthony Davis had 18 points and 11 rebounds, Greivis Vasquez scored 14 points and Ryan Anderson added 12 for the Hornets, who dropped to 2-11 on the road.
San Antonio led by as many as 16 points in the first half en route to a 54-42 edge at the break. The advantage was still 14 with under 10 minutes to play before the Hornets rallied with 10 straight points to pull within 84-80 midway through the final stanza.
Parker hit a basket with 5:35 left to start a 12-6 run. His two free throws with 2:17 remaining culminated the surge and pushed the lead back up to 10.
