Raptors 97, Pistons 91:  DeMar DeRozan scored 23 points and Jose Calderon handed out 17 assists as host Toronto posted its season-high fourth straight victory

DeRozan shot 10-for-19 from the field but went scoreless in the fourth quarter as Toronto saw an 11-point lead dwindle to four with under three minutes remaining. Calderon, who came within one of his season high in assists and two of his personal best, also hit a clutch 3-pointer with 2:28 left that gave Toronto a 91-84 lead.

Greg Monroe scored a career-high 35 points on 14-of-22 shooting for Detroit, which has dropped six straight. Rodney Stuckey added 13 but Brandon Knight shot 1-for-10 and was held to two points.

Alan Anderson scored 12 of his 16 in the fourth quarter and Jonas Valanciunas chipped in 12 as Toronto shot 48.6 percent. Ed Davis contributed 11 points and nine rebounds.

The Raptors held several seven-point leads before finally getting it to 88-77 on Anderson's 3-pointer with 6:25 left. The Pistons reeled off seven straight points and were within 88-84 on Monroe's hook shot with 2:53 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto F Amir Johnson appeared to injure his ankle when he collided with Monroe early in the fourth, but had a solid game with nine rebounds. He won a critical jump ball in the final minute. .... Toronto has handed out 123 assists in its last five games. ... Detroit outrebounded Toronto by a 44-33 margin, but was a dreadful 18-for-30 from the foul line
