Recap
Knicks 103, Cavaliers 102: Raymond Felton scored 25 points and New York remained the league's only team with a perfect home record despite playing without leading scorer Carmelo Anthony.
Tyson Chandler added 21 of his 23 points in the second half and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Knicks extended their winning streak to four and improved to 10-0 at home - the third-best start in franchise history.
Kyrie Irving, wearing a mask to protect a facial fracture, was spectacular with a career-high 41 points and nearly rallied Cleveland by scoring 17 points in the final 5:04, including a pair of 3-pointers 12 seconds apart in the final half-minute.
The Cavaliers had a chance to tie it but Anderson Varejao missed the second of two free throws with one second to play as Cleveland became the first team to 20 losses with its third straight defeat and eighth in nine games.
A basket by Chandler built the lead to 10 points midway through the fourth quarter before Irving scored seven straight to trigger a comeback. He scored eight points in just under 18 seconds to cut the deficit to 102-101 with 10.1 seconds to play.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Anthony missed his third game of the season - and third in six games - due to a sprained left ankle and it is uncertain whether he will play in Monday's game against Houston. Knicks F Rasheed Wallace also sat out with a sore foot. ... Irving, who was playing in his fourth game since sitting out 11 contests with a broken left index finger, sustained a small fracture in his jaw during Friday's game against Milwaukee that was revealed by a CT scan. ... J.R. Smith scored 16 points off the bench for the Knicks, including the 1,000th 3-pointer of his career.
