Spurs 126, Nuggets 100:
Manu Ginobili scored a season-high 20 points and Tony Parker collected 14 points, six assists and five rebounds as host San Antonio jumped out early and coasted past Denver.

DeJuan Blair scored 19 points, Danny Green added 15 and Tim Duncan 14 for the Spurs, who bounced back from a rare home loss.

Danilo Gallinari recorded 15 points and seven rebounds while Ty Lawson scored 13 points for the Nuggets, who dropped their third straight. Denver was playing the first of a three-game trip and beginning a stretch of 11 of 14 on the road.

San Antonio made its move in the first quarter, outscoring the Nuggets 33-15 in the period. Ginobili buried a 3-pointer and Green hit two in a row from beyond the arc during a 17-2 run that closed the quarter.

Ginobili’s 3-pointer with 10:40 left in the first half stretched it out to 41-17 and the Spurs took a 60-40 lead into the locker room. Duncan’s free throws capped a 14-2 run to begin the third quarter and San Antonio cruised the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Denver will end up playing 22 of its first 32 games on the road. … The Spurs, who lost at home to the New York Knicks on Thursday, have not dropped back-to-back games at AT&T Center since March 28 and 31, 2011. … Nuggets F Kenneth Faried recorded 14 points and five rebounds, snapping his double-double streak at five games.
