Recap

Hawks 112, Kings 96: Kyle Korver went 5-for-5 from 3-point range and finished with 22 points and seven rebounds as visiting Atlanta handed Sacramento a fourth straight setback.

Lou Williams added 21 points off the bench and Al Horford collected 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks, who grabbed a big lead in the third quarter and held off the Kings’ attempts at a run in the fourth.

Jason Thompson scored 19, Marcus Thornton had 17 and DeMarcus Cousins collected nine points and 16 rebounds for Sacramento, which failed to carry over the momentum of a big second quarter.

Atlanta jumped out to a 34-20 lead after the first quarter only to have the Kings chop it down to 58-56 at the half with a big second frame. The Hawks made another surge in the third, getting nine points from Korver and seven apiece from Williams and Horford as they outscored Sacramento 28-14 in the frame.

Instead of falling off while the Kings surged in the fourth, Atlanta kept pace and got four straight points from Korver to stretch it to a 105-90 edge with 3:31 left.
