Timberwolves 96, Pacers 94: Chase Budinger snapped a tie with layup as time expired to give host Minnesota a stirring victory over Indiana.
After George Hill's rainbow 3-pointer with 3.8 seconds remaining helped the Pacers erase a six-point deficit, Andrei Kirilenko fed Budinger for the final bucket to give the Timberwolves their third straight victory.
Budinger, who finished with a team-high 18 points off the bench, started the second half as Brandon Roy was plagued by a sore right knee.
Derrick Williams scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting and Nikola Pekovic added 13 for the Timberwolves.
Hill finished with a game-high 29 points on 11-for-17 shooting for the Pacers, who suffered their third straight loss.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Minnesota (4-1) is off to its best start since Kevin Garnett guided it to a 6-0 mark in 2001-02. ... Timberwolves G J.J. Barea, who was a spectator for Friday's tilt with a sprain in his left foot, has also been ruled out for Saturday's game against Chicago. ...
