 Cavaliers 108, Clippers 101: Rookie Dion Waiters scored 28 points and drained seven of Cleveland’s 14 3-pointers as the visiting Cavaliers defeated Los Angeles for the 11th time in the last 12 meetings.

Kyrie Irving added 24 points and 10 assists and Anderson Varejao had 15 points and 15 rebounds. Meanwhile, Cleveland’s pesky defense forced the sloppy Clippers into 25 turnovers.

Blake Griffin scored 20 points, Jamal Crawford tallied 19 and Chris Paul added 17 points and nine assists for Los Angeles, which lost its second straight game.

The Clippers rallied from a nine-point, fourth-quarter deficit to tie the contest on Crawford’s 3-pointer with 4:28 remaining. Waiters hit a 3-pointer to put the Cavaliers back ahead as part of a decisive game-ending 14-7 run.

Irving scored 16 points in the first half as Cleveland built a 57-50 lead. The Cavaliers expanded the lead to 13 early in the third quarter.
