Recap

SPURS 112, LAKERS 91: Tony Parker had 29 points and 13 assists to lead visiting San Antonio to an easy victory over Los Angeles, and a half-game ahead of idle Oklahoma City atop the Western Conference.

Down 41-39, the Spurs (44-16) used an 18-0 run midway through the second quarter for a 57-41 lead and went into halftime ahead 63-47. From there, the Spurs used their deep bench and never let the Lakers make a run.

The Lakers (39-23) played their sixth consecutive game without Kobe Bryant, who is still nursing a sore left shin.

Tim Duncan had 19 points and eight rebounds and Manu Ginobili scored 15 for the Spurs, who have won 15 of their last 17 games.

Andrew Bynum had 21 points for the Lakers, who are just a half-game ahead of the Clippers for first in the Pacific Division and third in the conference.

Pau Gasol had 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Matt Barnes also scored 16.

Parker scored 19 in the first half on 9-of-13 shooting.

GAME NOTEBOOK:  Lakers coach Mike Brown said Bryant would "most likely not" play Wednesday at Golden State. “We're taking our time with it,” Brown said. “We want to make sure that it's right.” … Spurs coach Gregg Popovich’s philosophy on health over position for the playoffs: “You don't want to win a battle, but lose the war.” … The Spurs scored 18 points off 13 turnovers in the first half.
