SPURS 125, CAVALIERS 90: Danny Green scored 19 points in his return to Cleveland, Patrick Mills had 20 and San Antonio recorded a season high en route to its eighth straight victory.

The Cavailiers surrendered a season high in points and have lost their last two home games by a combined 72 points. They have dropped eight in a row and 11 of their last 12.

Green was the Cavaliers’ final cut in training camp before the start of last season and scored a total of 40 points during his rookie season with the Cavaliers in 2009-10.

The Spurs scored 16 consecutive points to take a 32-16 lead late in the first quarter. The Cavaliers never came close to threatening the lead.

Antawn Jamison had 15 points and Kyrie Irving had 13 points and five assists after missing one game with a sprained right shoulder.
