Recap
GRIZZLIES 94, THUNDER 88: O.J. Mayo scored 22 points and hit a key 3-pointer in the final seconds as visiting Memphis moved up in the Western Conference and snapped Oklahoma City's six-game winning streak.
Tony Allen added 15 points and eight rebounds and Marc Gasol chipped in 13 and eight for the Grizzlies, who moved into a tie for fifth place in the West.
The Thunder, who clinched a playoff berth Sunday, are 2½ games ahead of San Antonio for the top spot.
Memphis shot 30.7 percent in the first half but went into the break only down 44-42 thanks to an advantage on the offensive glass and the 12 turnovers it managed to force.
The Grizzlies started to get things going offensively in the third quarter, beginning the frame with a 9-2 run to grab the lead. Every time the Thunder tried to get back on top Memphis responded, with Mayo answered three times in the final 2:29 of the third after Oklahoma City had cut it to two points.
The Grizzlies held an 87-78 edge with 3:15 left but missed six straight shots and was called for a shot clock violation over the next 2:58 as the Thunder cut it to 87-86.
Mayo finally broke the drought, burying a 3-pointer from the right wing with 17.2 seconds left. Zach Randolph and Allen each hit a pair of free throws to close it out.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Kevin Durant scored 21 points and Russell Westbrook added 19 to lead Oklahoma City. … The Grizzlies went 22 for 24 from the free throw line. Memphis was playing the first in a stretch of five games in six days.
