Recap

MAGIC 103, SUNS 93: Dwight Howard had 28 points and 16 rebounds and Ryan Anderson scored a game-high 29 points to lead Orlando to its fourth straight home victory over Phoenix.

The Suns didn’t have an answer inside for Howard, who recorded his 39th double-double and helped the Magic snap their two-game slide.

With all of the focus on Howard in the paint, Anderson put on a shooting clinic from behind the arc. The forward dropped 16 first-half points, shooting 4 for 5 from 3-point range, to give the Magic a 57-44 advantage at the break they wouldn’t relinquish. Anderson finished 7 for 12 from beyond the arc.

Orlando put up 59 total points in a loss to Chicago on Monday.

Jared Dudley scored 17 points for the Suns, who dropped consecutive contests since a season-high four-game winning streak.
